Featuring The Iconic Tee
We’ve all seen the rise and fall of the “Ironic T.” They were loved. They were loathed. They were a staple amongst the most happening of hipsters. So in a world flooded with witty taglines and catch phrases, movie quotes and double entendres, I’ve gone one step further to bring you something with substance…the “Iconic T.”
This featured series is based on the periodical ads of mid-century Charm City. Meaning, the chosen phrases and graphics have come straight from the vintage billboards, building skeletons and banners of 1950s Baltimore—all digitally captured and hand-traced to maintain the careful lines and letterforms of their original creators.
We also feature other designs that are basically a hodgepodge of thoughts and musings that draw influence from the field of graphic design. Alcohol and athletic designs are also in the works, and will be added to the collection shortly. Because who doesn’t like beer and sports?
